We do not process special categories of data (health, religion, ethnicity, etc.). Card details never reach us — they are entered directly on the payment processor’s secure page.
3. Children’s data
Many of our courses are for children. We collect the data of a child under 14 only from a parent or legal representative, who gives consent on the child’s behalf (art. 8 of Law No. 195/2024). Our forms for children are filled in by the parent, who confirms this with a checkbox; if a child sends us data without parental consent, we delete it as soon as we become aware. We collect only what is strictly needed for the course or exam (name, age/grade, and for Cambridge exams the date of birth and sex required by the exam board).
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with:
- Notion Labs, Inc. (USA) — the system we use to keep client and test records. The transfer is covered by standard contractual clauses.
- BPay (Paymaster S.R.L.) — our online payment processor.
- Cambridge University Press & Assessment and the authorised exam centre (European Examinations Centre, RO050) — for Cambridge exam candidate registration.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics, YouTube) and Tawk.to — statistics, video and chat providers — statistics only with your consent, chat only when you open it.
- Public authorities where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep data
- Contact requests with no subsequent enrolment: 12 months from last contact.
- Online test results: 12 months.
- Student records and contracts: duration of the course plus 3 years.
- Payment and accounting records: 6 years, as required by accounting law.
- Exam candidate details (date of birth, sex): until exam registration is completed, then removed from our records.
6. Cookies
The site uses strictly necessary cookies (page operation, remembering your cookie choice) and, only with your consent, statistics cookies (Google Analytics). You can accept, reject or change your choice at any time in the cookie banner or your browser settings. Refusing does not limit access to the site. The chat (Tawk.to) and its cookies load only if you press the chat button; YouTube videos are embedded in no-cookie mode.
