General English
The European Centre of Foreign Languages QUO VADIS defines language achievement in 8 levels, from Level 1 (complete beginner) to Level 8 (Advanced) but they can be continued either by the specialized courses (business, legal, technical, medical, etc. ) or by the exam preparation ones.
| Elementary A / B |
This course addresses to those people who never learnt the language or have very vague and unclear knowledge. |
At the end of this course you will be able to take part into conversations of a certain easiness (leisure activities, travel, telephone conversations, presenting family and company), you will be able to follow up conversations, you will be able to write texts, you will be able to to use correctly the most important verbal forms , the degrees of comparison adjectives, the pronouns, the adverbs. |
| Pre - Intermediate A / B |
This course addresses to those people who acquired the knowledge of the elementary level or who can generate their own contexts using the remembered knowledge |
At the end of this course you will be able to express in more difficult conversations, to read, to understand texts with a high degree difficulty and not lastly to self-correct. From a grammatical point of view, the student will be able to master the conditional structures, to know well the differences of using the basic tenses, to be able to render a dialogue. |
| Intermediate A / B |
This course addresses to those students having a rich vocabulary and deep and correct grammar knowledge. |
At the end of this course you will be able to have a fluent conversation, possibly with native speakers on any theme, to understand a complex text, to write highly correct texts. |
| Advanced A / B |
For registering with this course, the student should have strong knowledge of grammar and vocabulary from all specializations. |
At the end of this course you are going to accomplish a high difficulty degree conversation; you will understand a wide range of idiomatic and familiar expressions, you will be able to read texts in a variety of styles, you will be able to write clear and well-structured texts. |
